French artist Edouard Martinet assembles faithful interpretations of birds, crustaceans, insects, and other creatures with countless objects from discarded bicycles, cars, and household objects. A bicycle pump forms the abdomen of a dragonfly, windshield wipers serve as the legs of a fly, or the metal logos of a bicycle manufacturer are layered to create the dense scales of a fish. Muy buenos guitarrazos. Con la facilidad con que actualmente se pueden bajar discografías completas, estoy re-descubriendo varias bandas de antaño que antes no atendí demasiado.

Megadeth es una de ellas. Siempre pensé en el heavy metal como uno de los géneros que más rápidamente se mal vendió y asimiló por la industria musical de las ultimas décadas. Pero con canciones como esta casi veo reivindicarse mi fe en el metal. Esto es energía pura señores, de la que ya casi no se hace…

Korn no ha muerto…

Una pruebita de “The Path Of Totality”. La verdad es que hace rato no me daban tantas ganas de comprar un CD de metal. Pero lo nuevo de Korn logró que me dieran: la banda trae una propuesta de nu-metal mas poderosa que nunca, con lo que se demuestra que el metal -y Korn mismo- no han muerto. sino todo lo contrario…

El décimo álbum de estudio de Korn que saldrá a la venta el próximo 2 de diciembre ha recibido un trato especial: contó con la colaboración de distintos productores de dubstep (Skrillex, Kill The Noise, Datsik, Excision y más) quienes han transformado la identidad de los veteranos del nu-metal en un híbrido algo extraño que aún nadie logra concebir. En fin, el nuevo álbum de Korn se titula The Path Of Totality y hoy han sido colocados clips de todas las canciones incluídas en este. Si son fanáticos, compartimos el player a continuación.
